What is this?

The Tapir App is built to be a base to build high performance, easy to scale backends written in Go. It is built to handle HTTP, GraphQL, CRON, Scripts, and more. The Tapir App is built with modularity in mind, and designed to leverage the key features of Go.

The goals of the Tapir App is to be a quick and easy way to get a GoLang backend setup quickly for beginners and experts alike.

Hosting

The Tapir App is built to be hosted basically wherever, because it is containerized by default. Docker is a key part of the app because it allows it to be put anywhere with ease.

Why “Tapir”

A little over a year ago before the guys and I made https://insiderviz.com, we were working on our first little startup idea and we named it “Tapir”.
